About the Nottingham Forest Supporters Club

The Official Nottingham Forest Supporters Club is an entirely voluntary organisation. Which currently has members in 50 branches serving Forest fans all around the world. The main aim of the Supporters Club is to help Nottingham Forest Football Club. This has seen the Supporters Club and its branches sponsor players and equipment including the leasing of a minibus for the Youth Academy and the sponsorship of one of the executive boxes in the Brian Clough Stand. Another aim is to make it easier for people to support Nottingham Forest chiefly by organising coach travel to games whenever possible.

The Supporters Club is organised in branches and each branch differs slightly in what they offer to their members. Some organise coach travel to home and away games. Some organise social events and some provide a means for Forest fans to get together to share travel costs etc.

The Supporters Club also tries to represent the views and interests of Forest fans to the administration of the football club and has met with Nottingham Forest officials on a regular basis since spring 1999. Topics covered during these meetings have included ticketing arrangements for away matches, price of season tickets, discounts for junior Forest fans, catering facilities at the City Ground and many other subjects concerning supporters.

Membership of the Supporters Club not only offers the benefits listed but also access to a thriving and friendly community of avid Forest supporters. Players are often invited to Supporters Club meetings and social events and teams representing Nottingham Forest and the Youth Academy have competed in past Supporters Club quizzes and darts tournaments. On home match days, many members take advantage of access to the licensed upstairs bar in the Boat Club on Trent side, only yards from the Trent End. This has become a friendly gathering place where members from many different branches congregate before games. All fans are welcome at the Boat Club prior to kick off. For existing members entry is free on production of a valid membership card, for all non member's there is a £1.00 entry fee.
